Car Rides!

For the last three years, car rides have been a screaming, choking nightmare, as the car seat triggers Mikey to go into extension and feel very uncomfortable; but after months of work with his OT and PT, Mikey has turned a major corner. And while this photo might make it look like he “likes” car rides, I wouldn’t go that far. But he does tolerate them, and we will take it! Side note - one of the biggest challenges to our daily life is coordinating getting around with Mikey, he still requires constant attention in his car seat to make sure he is breathing safely and that requires a driver and a passenger in the back seat riding with him everywhere we go.
